With the "Click Ponds" at Viera being pumped down, several different shore birds are visiting, including Semipalmated Plovers.

Very nice Ira. Add this to the bitterns and the BCNH in the last couple of days you've had a good time and gotten some nice shots. Congrats! thumb.gif

Thanks, Bud. All those photos were taken on Monday just befor the rains arrived in Florida. Maybe the approching storms helped me in finding the birds.....

We have had three days of rain, setting a record for tha month of May, and now I want to get back in the field. The sun came out 1/2 hour ago, so things may be looking up.

    Nice shot

Good thing we went on monday. That afternoon the sky let loose and did not stop til today.
They are really hurting north of us.
Hope the birds at the rookery made out ok.

I supose Viera will be closed for a week.
    Best Regards
    Gale

Thanks, Gale. You said that you thought you got out there too late and that bad weather was moveing in. You forgot to tell me that the bad weather was going to last 6 days! Laughing.gif

I hope that they don't close Viera..........
