Osprey in action

Stopped by the pond to see if anything was happening, and three osprey showed up for a little fishing. Didn't seem too bothered with my presence, and finally one took the plunge.
I didn't catch him until he hit the water, but managed 40 or so pics thereafter.
Amazing to watch them in action.

    Nice captures.

    I like the way they just "hang" up there watching the water and then they drop like a stone. Our locals like the corners of our pond about 200+ ft. from our backyard (don't get much even at 400mm on a crop camera). I'll have to see what happens if I walk down their way.
