As it says in the title, the slideshow option in my galleries works fine usually, but when I password protect them, for some reason it locks up when viewed on other computers, it works ok on mine.. Remove the password, and it works again.I would really appreciate some help on this as I have clients wanting to view their images.
The gallery is as below:

Password is Cassidy

Kind regards, Lani.

Did a search, and seems this has been an issue for other people in the past. Is this still a bug? ....and is there a work around?

    Thanks if you can help.

Sorry, it's a bug with custom domains and passwords. You can give them your nickname.smugmug.com link and it'll be fine.

Any time frame on a fix? I would prefer to use my custom domain for business.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. thumb.gif

Unsure of the cause. But as Andy said it is bugged and the engineers are aware of the problem. Hopefully we can get it fixed soon.

The slideshow in your password-protected gallery works for me, as does Lani's.

    And hey Andy -
I like the change to your site.

Both Nickname and domain, logged in or out, does not work on this gallery with slideshow.
Splash (light opacity) shows ok before show PW is entered. Splash goes to full
opacity after show PW is entered and status is "waiting for api.smugmug .com"
    forever. IE6 & FF3

    http://www.photosbyat.com/gallery/4414498_JQHnM
    password for gallery
    temptest
Use same PW on show and click the "login" button

EDIT: using domain after two minutes the show took off, after waiting for api.smugmug .com

My homepage slideshow gallery is asking for a password, even though I don't have it set up for a password.

Gallery FSSS restarts at photo 66 on domain site
I've noticed that all of my password protected slideshows, while viewed on my domain, are stopping at photo number 66 and restarting at the beginning.

They are working fine from my stephenjpeters.smugmug.com but not at stephenjpeters.com.

Tried on multiple computers with IE6, IE7, FF and Chrome.

    Gallery: http://www.stephenjpeters.com/gallery/8017088_RqCgA#531600472_Gsb9K

    Password: temp

    Any idea's?

This is when you embed the slideshow, like putting it on your homepage?

No. This is in a private gallery. Not on the homepage.

    OS = Window's XP

Logged out and it works fine at stephenjpeters.smugmug.com

It reverts to the beginning when going through my domain at stephenjpeters.com
