The Green Heron
At last, i have been trying to get a shot of this elusive heron for over 1 year. I was walking a remote lake when i saw a pair of Heron on the far side of the lake. After stalking for over 2 hours i finally got a shot of my tarhet.
The Green Heron is fairly scarce here and they are always very cautious.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
Yes this Heron is very shy here also, a great bird with some wonderful colors. Lots of stealth needed .

Yep, those Green Herons don't like people much :uhoh You can walk right past them and they won't move, but if they know you are looking at them or stalking them, forget about it Because of this, I've got a ton of Greenie butt shots.....
