I had a chance to play with LumiQuest Softbox III.
Seems to be well designed. Large (for an on-camera diffuser), but portable.
Good for table top and macro photography. If not too far from the subject can produce great portraits.
Here is my review: LumiQuest Softbox III

I already have a LumiQuest Pocket Bounce and was thinking to get
the Softbox III for portraits on the way or during events. Have you
tried it for portraits? Would love to see some samples with vs. without!

I just finished an article containing several tests of Lumiquest Softbox III. The final image varies significantly depending on flash zoom setting.
I tested from 2 feet and 6 feet at flash zoom set at 14mm, 24mm, 50mm and 105mm. There are also direct flash images for comparison.

    Manfr3d,
Hope this will help with your decision.

clap.gif Wonderful, seems like the setting with 2ft and 14mm does exactly what I want. Thanks for sharing!
