I'm getting nervous. This will be my first wedding of the year. I know the b&g are really cool and wonderful, but like all of us we want to make sure we capture their memories.

Anyway, the wedding is going to be held at the White Chapel on the campus of Rose Hulman Institute (the colts do their training their in the summer :D )

I took my daughter with me to get a feel for the church and the landscape and wanted to share with you all here.

Oh, and great photos of your daughter, #4 in particular, you should be able to get a few great shots with that. is that the front or the back of the church?

That platform is where the bride and groom will be standing. I went close to the time the wedding will be held...11:30 a.m. It was of course and overcast day until we left, then the sun came out. Laughing.gif I think the sun will shine in at the upper right hand side of the windows...out of frame. I am not using any strobes as it will cut into my profit that I'll need for renting equipment for the next weekend. my friend who photographs weddings there a lot said that I will be fine with what I've got.

I just have to take a lot of deep breaths. Lol

If you blow out the background you blow it out no big deal. What do you have for flashes? a set of skyports or cybersyncs can be had for around $100 or ultra cheap ebay transmitters for $20. Either way I'm sure it will be fine, the available light shot of your daughter looks perfect.

I just have a Sigma external flash. I would eventually like to invest in the equipment that you are talking about....hopefully I'll be able to get some at the end of the year.
