Engagement Shoot questions
I am doing an engagement shoot this saturday at a local park that has a lot of shade with lots of sunlight peaking through creating tons of shadows. There is a shot the couple wants with a waterfall in the background and they want the water blurred. How can I get that effect with the couple in focus using a fill flash to get rid of some of the shadows. We are shooting in the late afternoon but there will still be some shadows. I posted a few shots I quickly snapped the other day. All help would be appreciated.

sorry..I will be using a Nikon d80 with a 50mm f1.4 and a 18-135
I have reflectors and a SB-600 that I can use off camera as well.
I would have the camera on a tripod and shoot very high fstop, like f18. Try to get your shutter down to like 1/15th- if you have to underexpose the scene a few stops to get down to 1/15th- even better. USe your flash off camera and use a diffuser- make that light soft- that should do it.

Don't forget shutter speed is irrelevant for flash, so expose for a long a shutter on the background and use the flash to highlight the client.
