My first engagement shoot.

This couple just got engaged. I've known Chris for years and have shot his band numerous times. Anyway, they gave me the opportunity to shoot their engagement photos so we went down to balboa park to see what we could get. I was hoping for sun/lense flare/blown out backgrounds, but it ended up being an overcast day which worked out to my advantage. I went back and forth between a Sigma 10-20 and a Canon 70-300. I tried to get a good mix between some creative stuff and some more traditional stuff.

Let me know what you think!

I love the fourth, sixth, and the last two...wonderful. They all look great though. Are you sure this was your first e-shoot? :D I checked out the flickr page too...really awesome, contemporary portrait work...you should be shooting fashion print ads (if you're not already)...the pics of Summer are incredible.

Thanks everybody! As far as him looking like said celebrity, that's funny. I'm not sure how I feel about not being able to decide who has nicer hair between the two of them ne_nau.gif.

Thanks a lot! It was my first "officially scheduled" engagement session that i got a little bit of money for. Other times I've just sort of lurked on my friends in hopes of snagging something. I appreciate feedback of all sorts, thanks a lot!
