Can someone tell me what's going on with my banner and "Old Family Album"?

I'm trying to match up my SM site to as close as possible to my flash site. I put the same type of header on my SM site as I have on my Flash site and it looks ok.
Does anyone know what's going on with that frame just below my nav bar that disappears into oblivion after my nav bar? It abruptly ends and looks very unfinished.
Help please?

P.S. Is there a way to add 'Stretchy' to the "Old Family Album" theme?
