The last ever 400D Image...

...that I processed.

I wasn't going to bother at first, but this was the last photograph I processed with the 400D camera, last Sunday evening.

It wasn't quite in focus and I couldn't line myself up quite right with the grasses (was working 8 inches off the floor, knelt on a bin bag). Still, I got a few fired off, and this was the final one of the bunch. The other 8 were even more cack!

Then on Tuesday I was out and about shooting a few abstracts around the canal (the moorings up close) when the camera got knocked into the canal. Impossible to retrieve, so had to claim on the house insurance.

Still, next week I get a new Sigma 105, a manfrotto tripod, a 8gb memory card and a shiny new 450D.

So for posterity, here it is, the last one.

    Yep, like it too!

So how did you manage to knock a camera on a tripod in the canal ? headscratch.gif

I was trying to get a few abstract shots of moorings on the edge of the locks area. Nudges the tripod leg and the rest is history, as they say.

    Thanks Whiterice.

The 450D is going to be my replacement from the insurers. A better camera if not in the league of the 50D.

Hopefully, I'll get some great results from it once I have received it.

Bummer eh.. Mind you, only just a few moments ago I managed to get my foot stuck behind the power cord of my notebook... The notebook didn't come flying of the couch, but that was just sheer luck..
