    I like 1, very nice.

    2 seems out of focus

3&4 are a little soft for my liking. I'd like to also seem some catch lights in her eyes. She has striking eyes and I think a little light in them would really just make for a "WOW" shot.

This is my most recent attempt. I can tell you that it was a very bright sunny day. His highchair was under the table umbrella, it was about 3pm, so sun was behind my left shoulder slightly. There was light conveniently reflecting off our stainless grill which caught light in his eyes.

It was shot at focal length 105
    f/5
    1/200
    ISO 400

I have been trying to get light on eyes from underneath and that seems to be working for me, or shooting from slightly above my subject. If I think of more I'll come back, but I am very new at this myself and don't have much time to practice
