I took a couple of my oldest that I liked and wanted to share. Then with my little one, I was practicing with using only available light. I would like to try doing that more often...when possible. I'm also looking at buying a 20mm 2.8 lens. Can anyone suggest what lens would be good for me that are under 50mm that will allow for a lot of light?

If 2.8 is enough, you could get a zoom, like the tamron 17-50 which I've been looking at. It gets good reviews from users from what I've read. For available light indoors though it's often nice to have a 1.8 or faster lens. The 35mm 1.8 would fit the bill, and it's fairly cheap at $200 new. They've been out of stock everywhere for a while but they have them now at Ritz's website if you want one.

I love my 50mm 1.4 but there are times when I would prefer to not have to walk back to get that wider shot.

    Thanks. :)
