    Thanks for the reminder hTr. For some of us this is very close to home.

    Our oldest son is currently in the Mojave desert prepping for his third deployment. 1 each to Iraq and Afghanistan ... this one will be back to Iraq, in August.

    He is a Navy corpsman attached to a Marine expeditionary unit ... so he is always where the fighting is .... sigh.

    May all our service men and women be safe this Memorial Day weekend. We should all take a moment and remember those that have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

    Been thinking about it all day. It is so easy to get caught up in petty troubles and forget about what goes on overseas time and time again. There is no better cause on the planet than the freedom we all appreciate in the country, and thank you and your family for standing up for it.
