Another tiny spider

Saw this tiny spider that I could not identify:

    LOvely captures- amazing colour on the moth.
    There are lots of species of these tiny spiders- fraid I just call them "money" spiders.

    Your spider is quite tiny, had to look twice, thought it was an ant rolleyes1.gif

    The Moth is known as a ROSY MAPLE MOTH (Dryocampa rubicunda)
    Found in USA and Canada.

    According to my book their catapillars "Green Striped Maple Worms"
    can strip trees of all it's foliage.

    For a pest it's quite a pretty moth thumb.gif .... Skippy :D

    Interesting about the moth, I saw some of the same info when looking him up! I thought he was too pretty to throw into the sream for the fish - now that I know about them destroying Oak trees, I wish I had.
