I realized that it had been way too long since we've visited my Grandfather's grave at Williamette National Cemetery. I wanted my children not only to see his grave but also to see all of the flags that decorate acre after acre during Memorial Day weekend. What a special site this is!

My Grandfather was a first-generation Italian-American who fought in WWI and was wounded in France. My heartfelt thanks to everyone who has served this country.
