Here is a guy I rescued from certain death at work the other day, before letting him go, he let me take a few shots of him!
this was shot with the 50mm f1.8 reversed on my d80.
i am finding it increasingly hard to use this reversal ring, especially indoors. just because i have to have it set at the aperture i want to shoot at, usually f/8 because i can still sorta see out the viewfinder. it makes it really hard to see if i have focus or not, i usually end up guessing!
i know i can set it wide open, then compose and change the aperture, but with this tiny DOF, just turning the aperture dial can move the camera a fraction of an inch!
cant wait to get my macro lens
thanks for looking!
