    Isn't the purpose of the router just to set up a local network - not connect to the internet? You wouldn't need an ethernet socket unless internet were your goal. Set the router up next to the computer, connect the computer either wired or wireless, connect the camera via wifi, then the pictures go to the computer. That is the goal, correct? Or did I miss something?

    Too technical for me but I know the results would be worth trying.

    After this contraption is completed, I hope somebody will write it up with some photos and explain what it does in easy to understand terminology , how to put it together and how to use it.

    I assume this would work in the Nikon world too?

    And yes, it should work with N-bodies... Consider it a "wireless usb cable" :-)

    @Nikolai - Ok. I thought maybe there was something that I had missed.
