the roses finally bloomed!

Ive been anxiously awaiting the roses since I bought my camera.. a few of them are now blooming.. I have around 30, so I should have plenty of variety (hey they grow great here in Oregon and they look and smell amazing).

so here is the 1st batch.. let me know what you guys think.

with this one I love the color of the rose, such a warm orange. My thoughts are the black and green detract from it. Ill mess around with it in photo shop and see how it looks.

Very nice shots. I agree that the second is the best. I think you could improve the third one by raising the black point and lowering the overall brightness a bit. It would bring out more detail and subtle color changes.

tried to darken it up some.. the colors really pop more now.
