Simple uploader problems

I've been using the simple uploader seamlessly for a couple of years. However, recently, I've been have some real problems. 7 or 8 photos will upload and then it'll freeze. This keeps happening over and over with different galleries, different photos and after I restart my computer.

I realize that this may be a PC problem. How can I uninstall/reinstall the uploader? Where can I find that on my PC to delete and reinstall?

Any advice would be appreciated!

Could you clear your browser cache?

If that doesn't help, give our new uploader a try and see if that one works for you. Here's how to use it.

If you keep having problems with it as well, it might be a connection issue or something else. Best write in to our helpdesk with all the details.

I, too, have noticed it's veerrrrryyyy slllooooowwwww sometimes. Other times, not. Will try clearing my cache.

Instead of using the "Simple Uploader", try their new uploader. In the URL, change "&applet=9" to "&applet=10". I've been using that new uploader and love it. NOTE: it is still in test phase, I guess; but works much better than the "Simple Uploader", seems as reliable as the old reliable "Drag & Drop" (for me at least).
