Lake District

Some photos I took during my trips up to the Lake District in the last two weeks. The mountainous ones are from Great Gable and the sunset ones and the dog are from Windermere area and lake Coniston (the lake where Donald Campbell crashed his Bluebird powerboat while attempting the water speed record in the 60's).

I like these shots, but then again I am a sucker for all Lake District shots - it is such a special place.

Nice work..

I really like 3,5 and 7-15.. I'm a landscape junky..

I'd have to say #5 is my favorite.. I love the smoke in the background, and the layout of the wall.. Well composed pic!

I come to Journeys partly to see what I am missing:D

I have never been to Britain, but it's where my great-great-grands lie.

I really love #8, though I want to have more to capture my eyes and pleasure cells in the wonderful stone and wood in the foreground. Is the horizon straight?
