I'm curious, with all the great photos that I've seen here, what photo
(of yours) do you use for the wallpaper on your computer.

I flip back and forth, but for the last month it has been these.
These are the pbase pics with frames, the ones I use on the computer
are frameless.

    Here are my last two
I'm currently using this one, resized of course:
    43674603.jpg

    And previosuly used this one:
    41731451.jpg

These are for my work system. I don't use anything but a plain background or the world at night from NASA on my home systems.

I like the sunset/sunrise. That more or less one color to find the icons
    easly works good for me.
I don't think I've ever seen a white spider before. Do you know what kind it is?

It's a nice pic, but I think I'd have trouble finding the icons.

That's real gold from Central Nevada
I shot this with my V3 and a reversed 50mm. I need to re-shoot and stack them to bring the whole think into focus. I only wish it wasn't a macro shot:D. I have to say the IR shot is easier on the eyes for a desktop...but gold is so good to look atclap.gif.

I think your second one would be the easiest to find icons on, but it's obvious from my desktop shots that ease of finding icons is of secondary importance.

    Thanks for the comments,

Yeah, that's what I thought too before I started using it. Didn't bother me, and I like how it looks on the 2nd monitor when it's otherwise empty. Here's another more icon-friendly one:
    15936419-M.jpg
    Whale Shark - Exmouth, Australia

Not the crispest... taken with a cheapy disposable. Makes a good background, though.

I am a space nut, and for over a year now I have not been able to use anything but this:

It thrills me when I see it. Fantasy and potential all rolled up into one photo.

    Thanks Higgy,

That's exactly why I use it. My Icons fit easily around the edge and it doesn't pull my eyes to it unless I choose. I also drive a gray car that doesn't get tickets (too much).
