I have been stalking this heron for weeks and he always seems to elude me but on Mother's day morning I finally was rewarded.

A little chase around the shoreline

I was so excited I think I was in matrix metering. It was early bright sunlight with a 150-500 on a windy day. I am lucky I got a shot...Laughing.gif but I'm still getting used to the D300. Thanks for looking & commenting.
