    Hi.. I am not the person to ask when it comes to a studio set-up like this one because I am still learning this skill.. however, as a viewer I will say that I can see where you modified the light... however, I am not sure what you are saying here as far as disability goes... one might think you mean its vision because the eye is blacked out, but then you made the focus of the shot your hands, and I cannot see what you have on your hands. It is difficult to make out what the black things are...

    Hopefully Diva will chime in and help you out... from what I have seen she is experienced at this self portrait style photography, as well as Sean and Emily.. They will be more help to you than I....
