Not my usual, Electric Guitar

Those who know me, know this is not my usual style.... I rarely do layered images that have the appearance of being more graphic than photographic but, I was experimenting here today. Your comments / blunt critique would be greatly appreciated. The only way I'll know if this images is appealing to someone, is if you folks say so here. Thanks.

    but do you like it?
    i like the subject and composition-not too keen about the bloody fingers though as it looks a little contrived-however the question you should ask yourself is 'do i like it?'

    Ditto with the bloody fingers, if done on a layer, you could mask out the red zig zags from the hand.

    Kind of psychedelic in feel. It's fun to play once in awhile...
