I saw in a video on lighting that some people use a screen made of acetate to help defuse the light. The only acetate I can find is the overhead projector sheets. Is there something different that I need to look at for the light screen idea?

    Fred,

    1) what kind of light are you looking to diffuse (as in: direct sun, window, studio strobe, speedlight, etc.)?

    2) what size diffusor are you looking to create?

Well the video that was showing these defusers, was using traditional household lighting. I was interested in testing it out some different lighthing ideas I saw pros using, but can't seem to find it. They have had 2'x3' screens, and they have had larger 6x8 screens as well.
