I don't know much about rugby. I do like the action you've got going though.

Good wet rugby conditions there! And I love the length of the grass - it's a long time since I have seen a traditional style rugby pitches - these days the pros play on the equivalent of soccer pitches.

    Great shots of open play.

Have you considered taking shots of rucks and mauls? Or am I mistaken and you are shooting rugby league rather than union?

    Keep up the good work!:D

I do scrums, rucks and mauls as well ... but they don't really get the attention and sales that these shots get.

And, this is just high school rugby. :)

Interesting about the sales of scrum shots - I find that the egos in the front row usually love shots of the engagement and the scrum halves the pick up at the base!

And your High School rugby looks great competitive stuff - do the guys tour at all?

Thanks. I've found them carrying the ball is 90% of the sales, regardless of it being rugby, football, or soccer. The other bit, being off the ball, with just nice sportraits.

For touring, there are a bunch of teams that do, but I've actually found it to be more of the girls that do the touring. Most do Wales or Scotland, I've noticed. We get a few sides touring here as well, from the UK.

The one thing about our area, is that we're far more athletic than most regions, but we're also a lot smaller. Most are converted from soccer, football, and track.
