Texas Cichlid

Took a break today and went fishing in New Orleans City Park. The lagoons are full of Texas Cichlids which are not native, but very fun to catch.

    Neat little fish. I had to look that one up. Interesting story about those.

    NOLA officials ask that we kill them when we catch them, but we just throw them back. Seems a little cruel to kill and not eat them.
