Osprey, Woodstork, fish
combo: "fish" could eat good. These are just three of many from today. Kind of whichever I got to first that was a mix. I was at the Osprey nest after photographing the Baptism. I ended up with more than I had bargained for, stayed over two and a half hours. All my CF cards. So this is a small sample. I will definitely put up another woodstork, just not tonight.......
Below is the food delivery: backwards, well frontwards, is a butt shot, but a special one. Fresh fish. Note small osprey head included, along with parent's head, too.
Impatient child, whose face is framed by whatelse: Osprey parent butts.
The fish HALF is right here for all to see, babys are being fed. Was very exciting!
Intermittantly woodstorks were flying by, that was my extra treat! In addition to the other birds, I do love the Woodstorks, had never seen one before yesterday, or probably I had not recognized one.

Almost to the Isle of Palms
Mt Pleasant side
Charleston County,
South Carolina
I used the 300 Prime with just the 1 1/4 extender,
I wanted the AF for comfort and for flyers.
It tracked better than in the past, or I
am getting more proficient. Also, I was
alone today, helps.
I used something like f 13, that gave me
more depth of field, a large help. It started
about 2 PM, so the light was strong. I did
not expect to do anything except practice.

After all is said and done, it is the sweet tea.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
