Looking for some feedback

I'm thinking of entering this in the modified light challenge. This is an HDR I took this week while I was in the Canadian Rockies.

Hey Dan

First of all I am very jealous of your trip. Banff is on my top five list.

I think there is still some work you can do on this one. The sky and the mountains on the right have some blotchy spots that could be cleaned up. I think you could enhance the sky a little more too. Need to get a little depth and pop into the clouds to match the rocks detail in the foreground.

Do you have more shots similar to this?

Thanks Aaron. It was the best. You will love it. I finally captured a loon which is on the wildlife forum. I'll be posting shots from this trip for a while.

The first one is much better now in my opinion.

That last one is really nice. I think if you can add some more clarity and contrast in the mountain and slightly lighten the trees it will be the best of all of these.

Thanks very much Nik. I re-did this one as Aaron suggested and now I think I will enter this one.

I like the compositions, and as an HDR, it's pretty good. The sky still has that 'gray-look' like most HDRs that I've seen. If it were me, I would blend the two together using Layer Masks.

I like your last photo, but I don't care for the two different colors (purple sky, blue reflection). It's just not natural looking to me.

That's one hell of a shot, Dan. All nice but the final one here is really something. Bringing out the trees really helped. Wonderful image

Good thing I haven't hit the big 3-0 quite yet... you good folks here on DGrin have already added enough to my bucket list that I don't think I'll be allowed to finally kick "it" until I'm about 162 years old!!
