I like the series Angelo! Ive got to get out from behind the 'Orange Curtain' and get into LA for some shooting time. Can you tell me where abouts photo #5 was from? That kind of stuff is interesting to me right now (I seem to go from subject to subject rolleyes1.gif )

looking forward to your next post!

That particular shot is on E. Main Street, east of downtown and the Alameda corridor. (Really bad area). Many old industrial areas can be found along the LA River, Santa Fe Street, Alameda Blvd; running from Chinatown down to around Washington Blvd.

You can find many interesting shots in areas that are often used as sets in movies in these areas. Thanks for looking.

Thanks Fred. #2 might have been a better shot if the station lobby were filled with businessmen dressed in suits to contrast this poorly dressed homeless man. But I do still think the contrast of him standing on the steps against everyone else heading "somewhere" is a little bit interesting.

Nice set, Angelo. I think these are some of your best work.

I must say that your shots have improved tremendously over the past few months. Your eye for composition in particular has become quite keen. Don't believe me? Compare this set with some of your shots from 4 months ago. Keep up the great work!thumb.gif

p.s. I watch your posts closely because we have the same camera setup.

Thank you. I didn't think too much of #5 but it's getting attention. I have others of the building I'll have to finish processing. Thanks for looking.

I shot downtown on Thursday afternoon... following a fantastic lunch of a beef dip sandwich at Phillipe's. Ever been? woohoo!

My long beach pix are in different threads.
