This just kind of cracked me up (and I had to share)... Such a beautiful sunset, and my kids refused to pose. Imagine that... they'd rather watch a movie! I suppose I shouldn't complain, they are usually good sports.

I was playing with off camera speedlight flash settings (SB-800 triggered with my D700 pop-up) - a'la Joe McNally (I just got his book, Hot Shoe Diaries, love it!).

It just felt like "all dressed up and nowhere to go!"

Nice analogy-- I know what you mean. Here is one of those "are you done yet?!?" shots. I was playing with my new flash too.

Can't see the picture in the post, and I tried cutting/pasting the link directly (I grabbed it from the "reply" window - where it lists the link) to no avail!

Probably have outside links turned off. That happens to me with some galleries.
