Lynn - I stopped into a lovely bistro in Long Beach for lunch and I was instantly reminded of your beautiful cafe shot. This is nowhere near as nice but....

That looks like a nice place to eat

The colors are quite restful. I'm surprised they have an area rug in the open though like that, I can just envision someone tripping over it.

We used to have a lovely little tea room in Montara, but it closed. It was always busy, even though it had limited hours. The walls were lined with pictures of British royalty and it had the nicest lace curtains at the window. (I don't like lace anything, BTW).

Your bistro has a much more elegant feel than my tea room did but they both convey the feeling of come in, rest a spell and enjoy a bite to eat.
