So what do you think (besides the fact that Pyro has uncannily good taste in engagement jewelry =c)

Brilliant Refraction

oh gorgeous.. I love it... I absolutely favor the purple with that gold glow...

    well shot pyro..clap.gif

My only suggestions are: It needs to be cropped and I am not sure how, but it is in there somewhere.. I think just a tiny bit on the top, just a little so it puts the ring more up in our face..
and.. I really wish you could have given us that beautiful purple shadowing on the cloth down below to give it character and depth the center point got blown out with the light and because it is so bright it is competing with your gorgeous ring and light effects.. well done...!!!thumb.gif

I think you have "mahvelous" taste in jewelry. mwink.gif Your fiance is very lucky.

I rather like the negative space surrounding the ring and like the crop as well. The light on the ring is gorgeous. But the white at the bottom is a bit bright. Is it possible to recoup some of the highlights so that more of the cloth's texture is visible?

I'd have to agree. Nice image, but the cloth is a bit blown out.

It is very cool. If you can't regain some detail why not just crop it. The cloth is covering some of it anyway. Nice work.

I think I like the second one best. It has enough of the ring to see what your doing giving a little hint of excitement but you know how we all have our opinions. The first one is good to but seems harsh like it needs to be faded away towards the bottom. Ya know what I mean?
