    I like the colors and comp of this shot. Nice shadow detail too. The only thing that bothers me is the vignetting which could be cloned out, but then again, you may like it.

    Very nice shot Ed. Can you share a bit about the how part? Like
    where'd you meter? Did you use filters? Which one(s)? Settings,
    etc.

    My sunsets look like crap and yours don't. Which is why I'm asking :D

    Thanks Folks,

    Ian, 3 stop ND to smooth the water a bit and a cokin 3 stop grad ND in front of it to help keep the sky from blowing out while still keeping some detail on the beach.

    I metered on the water with the center weighted setting right in the area just below the sun.
