I was really excited during a break in Tropical Storm Arlene to get some outside shots at a family reunion. The timing could not have been better since we had nothing but rain until 5-10 minutes after I arrived then there was a good break in the clouds.

This is my favorite shot:



And I got so many more. The family wanted me to shoot pictures on the bridge, but all of them were horrible with a bad backlit cloudy sky and me without a polarizer. I wish families would leave the posing to me. hehe. I also hated that the ground was soaking wet which made everyone stand for pics. But, I did bring a small stool or two...just used it once for kids closeups.
