I sold it on NikonCafe.com so there was no need to have the post here. I always keep the post up on the forum that I sold the item on.

It's not a really big deal, but I'm not sure you get my point. Where the lens sold is irrelevant - you posted it here, with a price, and now you removed that info. And I'm not saying we need to know how, when, where, why - but the original asking price is a valuable piece of info. We have plenty of electrons, there is no need to delete your info. In fact, you are doing other dgrinners (and googlers) a disservice by removing info that they could use in the future to research the going price for the same lens.
