Steamboat Rock...

This last Memorial Day week end we went out near Grand Coulee Dam in Washington and climbed a big rock called Steamboat Rock. I am not in the best of shape so this climb pretty much wiped me out. It was beautiful up on top though. Steamboat Rock is nearly surrounded by water. You also have to keep a good eye out for Rattlesnakes as this is prime country for them. Luckily we did not see any. The middle of the day is not great for pictures, but I did the best that I could. I will post a few of them in the next post.
I hope that you enjoy them!

Very nice series, Ron! You just can't beat a nice day hike with such great scenery.

Love the butterfly and the two Loud Al reposted. The colors are really neat.
