Steamboat Rock...

This last Memorial Day week end we went out near Grand Coulee Dam in Washington and climbed a big rock called Steamboat Rock. I am not in the best of shape so this climb pretty much wiped me out. It was beautiful up on top though. Steamboat Rock is nearly surrounded by water. You also have to keep a good eye out for Rattlesnakes as this is prime country for them. Luckily we did not see any. The middle of the day is not great for pictures, but I did the best that I could. I will post a few of them in the next post.
I hope that you enjoy them!

The climb starts to get a bit steeper here.
The trail down below is where we were.
Campground down below.
Taking a break for lunch.
If you can see the bird in this picture, they were buzzing us all of the time.
I am probably nuts, but I see faces in these rocks.
I am the big exhausted one:(.
Finally, the light is getting right.
