Hello folks. It's been a while since I've posted. Sorry for the lack of participation. Swampped with work and visitors. Just some of my more recently processed work. Most taken from a boat but there are a few eagle shots taken from land with one of those weird things with the 3 legs and a ballhead. :huh :dunno :scratch :rofl :D

Thanks for looking.

I'm not sure what happened to the camera on these. Must have been drugged or hit over the head. Some itty bitty sissy birds from the "darkside". I think I've got hives. :huh :D

    same boat, but less productive...
i, too, have been buried in work.

These are all great, but the first spoonbill does it for me (or maybe the eagle, or wait, maybe the red-winged blackbird....:D)

Wow! Nice set of images. I'd be hard pressed to pick a "best of show" but the pelican definately takes the prize for most unique presentation of that species that I've seen. Well done thumb.gif

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Wow! Always enjoy your "big" sets! Incredible action and detail plus you captured some wonderful poses. Ospreys and eagles in the same set can not be bad!

Thanks Harry. Always nice to hear from you. Glad someone saw my work in the mag. Not sure which image you are talking about or mag...but I'm sure the photo editor ruined the original version with an overly tight, crowded crop. I understand column widths and publishing nonsense but do they always have to ruin your original image? rolleyes1.gifrolleyes1.gif Nothing more wonderful than a pano pic for a cover cropped to a vertical format. ne_nau.gifheadscratch.gif

Excellent series! I especially like your PP. Some of them look like they were drawn by Ned Smith. For those who do not know who Ned Smith is, he was a famoius artist who's work appeared in most of the wild life magizines, like Field & Stream back in the 70's & 80's before he passed away. He was originally from my home town, and they have created the Ned Smith Center, where they display his work, and sell copies. This gives me the idea to go there and get a few shots of the area on my next day off.

I had the same reaction but couldn't remember the artists name...
