I surf a lot of photography websites, but none more than here, so the odds are that I discovered Blurb here. In any case, I did discover Blurb, downloaded their BookSmart software, and then plunged in HUGE by making a coffee-table sized book for my son's graduation gift. I ended up producing a 134-page book that, out of the box, my son pronounced "the best gift I've ever gotten". In terms of ease-of-use and customer support, they are a "10". In terms of end-product relative to my highest hopes, they were a 10+++++. This book, if anyone outside my family cared about the content, could be on display at Barnes & Noble.

The only caveat is that you have to color-manage vis-a vis their HP ICC profile (available, with some effort, by searching their blog). That means re-developing a lot of shots in PS with soft-proofing, but for a labor of love such as mine was, it's well worth it.
