Card reader not reading correct dates

has anyone had an issue with their card reader not reading correct dates? Not sure what the deal is (or maybe it's not the card reader) but all my pictures are now listing the wrong date when I transfer them to the PC. Any suggestions?

    Check the date setting of your camera. I strongly doubt the card reader has anything to do with it.

    I suspect that Richard is correct. If it is not the camera then we would need to know what software you are using in conjunction with the transfer from camera into computer.
