My first and only weddings!
I usually turn down requests to do weddings because they are so hard if you haven't got really fast lenses and a very low noise camera. I like to operate my camera totally manually too, even in high pressure situations, so that just creates extra stress.
Also, Since they are mostly friends I end up not being seen in any photos, despite knowing the participants for longer and better than many of the other people who are!
Anyhow, I thought I would post up a few from the only two weddings I have taken photos for. All taken in full manual mode. Indoor shots used bounced flash with shutter dragging technique, all handheld. I used a Pentax K10D.
The wedding that took place in the large house (my sisters wedding) had some horrendously low light. Picture 9 was taken in almost blackness. I hate the 'flash' look, so I slowed the shutter right down to 1/10th and ISO1600 with the intention from the beginning to go to B&W. I kind of like it. The guy in the photo is one of the grooms best friends.
Be kind!
