Juvi Least Bittern - Still has "Baby Fuzz"

It was a little slow at the Viera Wetlands today, but I did come upon this Juvi Least Bittern. The adults came by a few times, and upon their arrival he would dash into the reeds to see if they had any food for him. When the adults would leave, he would come out in the open to hunt for some food himself.........

Very cool! My favorites are 1, 4, 5, 6. I love the contrast of the bird's color with the rich greens of its surrounding.

Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap but memories are priceless.

Thanks Giphsub. It did not seem to mind that I was there taking its photograph. These young ones may not be as shy as the adults.........
