Night Heron Here!
First of others. I sat with this "guy" for an hour. I started before this. When I first saw him, I had on my 300 lens, but only one extender. I needed more reach, but I shot, in case he left. Then I quietly sat on the ground and added my 2Xs extender: have to manually focus then, but had a chance.
God, who else can I blame, he gave me gifts yesterday, this bird was one.
Thanks for looking, comments welcome. Other shots coming...........slowly.
am busy today. wanted to share this, soonest. If you don't like this one, you might, you will, like one of the others. From the depths of Hell, I was sent to heaven. (My husband drove:rofl .)

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
And that Night Heron is just sitting there like he's invisible....lol
That's the thing about bad days. They are usually offset by good ones It sure is nice to have your camera with you on those good days :flash
