Every season since our baby has been born I've been doing funny portraits of us, only cause I don't like the traditional family shots. I was wandering if anyone else does this? and if so lets see em!

    For some real belly laughs check out awkwardfamilyphotos.com some of them make me cringe because they are not trying to be funny, but some of them are soooooooo bad ....rolleyes1.gif

    Haha go for it! there so much fun, I put up a 11x14 print in our living room and it just looks hilarious and when people come over and see it, especially people I don't really know.

    This is a great idea. As you have done this every year since the baby was born, I would be really interested in seeing some others!

    It isn't a family portrait, but this was taken when my son's in-laws came to visit from Russia. You can see where I got the avatar I use for SmugMug. Poor Sergei and Irina, they let their daughter spend a year in the US, she didn't return, and this is the kind of family she married into!

    this is a brilliant idea - i have so much trouble getting my two boys to pose and wifie hates being photographed

    maybe i might steel this idea too :D

    Great Idea. Never thought about it for others but for us every family portrait is a funny one. Very difficult to get a good picture of everyone in one frame of my Thundering Herd.
