Found these everywhere yesterday, and was even able to get near a couple. They are usually really skiddish, and fly quickly. Three different beetles (the 2nd and 3rd shots are of the same one).
Spotted this one first.
Then I found this one enjoying lunch. It really had no interest in me. It was tearing lunch apart though.
Not really sure what lunch consisted of, but this one landed next to the one eating and was eyeing the snack.
