This Saturday (today) I am going to be doing my first outdoor art show. It is in downtown Mountain View this Saturday , June 6th from 10am to 6pm. It is called the AVArt Fest 2009 and is a benefit for the Community School of Music and Arts (CSMA). There should be around 100 artists. AV ArtFest used to be at the Triton museum in Santa Clara.

I am including the dry-run panorama of my booth setup in the backyard (yes, the pictures are crooked). Handheld, shot from multiple angles, stitched with CS4. Nothing like having 4 daughters! Fun!

I will be bringing the 38x58 canvas gallery wrap (on the far right in the panorama) that I had for my open studios open house. Sorry, I won't have the backlit light panel "Nature's Firefall" image since I would need a 500 foot power cord.

The art fair is in Pioneer Park, tucked between the Performing Art Center/TownHall on Castro and the Mountain View Library. I will be setup closer to the Library. The weather is supposed to be great and the park is nicely shaded.

Thanks for the note. It was fun trying an outdoor show, but I think I'll wait until next year to do another one :-) Some nice work there and lots of nice people coming through.

I will let you know if there are other events that I am doing.
