went up to the falls on Wednesday, partly to cool off (it was 90 that day, and the humidity here makes that an unpleasant situation!), and partly to shoot the falls while there was still lots of water going over the top... 5D, Tammy 24-135, 1/60 @ f/11

Very nice shots, Rocky! Love that double rainbow!

I remember the weather on Wednesday in Seattle. It was so hot in our home, we threw a mattress on the back porch and slept outside! :D
Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap but memories are priceless.

Great shots, really like the second with the rainbow. The falls are definitely running heavy, and your shots do a good job of showing their power. I'll have to get down there soon.

thanks, guys... yeah, Ron, there was a lot of water going over. i'll probably head back there later this summer when the river's lower, and get some different shots. maybe even try sneaking down there after sundown, see if i can get a shot with the lights on...

Very cool shots. Have to agree about #2. The rainbows and the crispness of the water on the rocks is very nice. clap.gif
