Help with Family Photo Positioning Please!

I'm doing a large family photo shoot in a few weeks and I'm trying to figure out how to position them all without it looking like the same old, same old. I will probably do some of the two parents sitting in the middle and their adult children around them (four adult daughters), but I'm trying to come up with something more unique?

They are a couple with four adults daughters - each daughter has a boyfriend/fiance/husband and some have a few children, so we're talking up to 12 people right now, I believe. I would appreciate any suggestions and ideas!

You didn't mention whether this is going to be indoors or out. How you do it may depend on the setting. Here are a couple of older threads you might want to look at:

Thanks for the helpful links Richard! It will be out of doors at their camp on a nearby lake.
