I went outside to take pictures of the sunset, but I was too late so I took some pictures of flowers in the garden instead. Criticize my photos please.

    Hi there argle409,

I like the first shot nod.gif

... the images seem a little flat, and noisey.

Some are overexposed, need to work on your composition,
but you will get there with more practice.

Keep shooting, and keep reading and looking at other peoples work,
you can learn so much from other people thumb.gif

I agree that you may want to work on your composition. Everything is centered in your images, which tends to make them not so interesting to view. Move closer or move your subject off-center. Study the rule of thirds and understand how that improves compositions. Work with shallow depth of field to isolate your subject. Try to avoid white spaces or lighter backgrounds which draw the viewers eye out of the image away from your subject.

Keep shooting and keep studying. The beauty of digital photography is the ability to learn on the fly and reshoot.

    Kind Regards
    Thanks,
    Jake
