    Hi Lee,

Good stuff here. I particularly like the old gear set. I'm a sucker for that kind of thing.

    Take care my friend.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

I like the last one best. Did you have your flash off camera?

Old farming or industrial machinery covered in rust just scream
" PHOTOGRAPH ME " technology has changed so much in such a short period of time.
I keep looking at the shot with the Light Glod,
and ask this .... is the light globe cracked in the 3rd photo,
or is just the element broken headscratch.gif

I'm leaning towards the element being broken... kind of hard to tell,
but I want to know rolleyes1.gif

Thanks for sharing Lee, hope your find more Rusty Items to photograph thumb.gif

I'm with you, Skippy. Looks like just the filament of the bulb is broken, not the glass!

Thank you very much, everyone, for the wonderful feedback. Yes, FlyNavy, my flash was off the camera, mounted on a StroboFrame (for more reach) and connected via a dedicated cord. I did a lot of holding and aiming for these. :D

I hadn't noticed at first, but after posting these I finally saw that the filament had fallen out of it's holder. I took more pictures of that particular bulb than any other part of the San Gabriel Mission. (As I told one of my fellow photographers, "Here I am at this ancient mission taking pictures of light bulbs.")
